To add a field that allows you to select a date, choose Date Field from the Field type dropdown.



After saving the field, a date field is created that allows you to enter a date according to your preferred date settings. Users can either enter the date manually or select one using the date picker.




The following field options are supported for date fields:


  • Required field – makes data entry required prior to storing a sample
  • Note field – field information for end user displayed in a tooltip balloon
  • Default value – field is filled with the default date value if no value is provided on sample creation
