To keep track of the number of samples in a batch of samples or sample series, you can set a Series Threshold. Open the sample series information sheet and click the Edit icon to set the series threshold.




Set the Series Threshold setting to Enabled and select the threshold number, then click Set.





As samples within the the sample series are archived in the system, the number of samples in the series will decrease until it falls below the threshold. Once the threshold is passed, a message will be displayed on the sample information sheet to notify users that the stock is running low. The owner of the sample series will also receive a notification. If you have installed the eLabInventory Mobile App, an additional notification will be sent to your mobile device.
