Supplies and Ordering
Users can keep track of lab supplies and centralize the ordering of consumables and chemicals in the lab with the Supplies module.
Supplies allows users to set up a group shopping list of frequently-used products in the lab. Items added to the lab's Product Catalog be can easily ordered or reordered by group members. Once an order has been placed on the shopping list, users can track the item through each stage of the ordering process until it has been fulfilled.
Note: while the Supplies module streamlines the lab's procurement pipeline, it does not directly interface with any third-party marketplace websites. The Supplies module is included in every subscription of eLabInventory. The group administrator needs to activate the Order Samples permission for users to access the Supplies tab. If the Supplies module is not visible when this permission is turned on, please contact us to activate this module for your account.
