What happens if your data center goes down?
The eLabInventory Cloud is hosted from two geographically distant data centres in the Netherlands. The eLabInventory Cloud is a fully redundant system with shared-nothing architecture that is replicating in real-time. In case of a disastrous event (i.e. power outage, flooding, fire, earthquake etc.) in one of the data centres that affect the availability of the eLabInventory Cloud server in that data centre, all active client sessions are automatically taken over by the second data centre. The server load is monitored in real-time in both data centres and the average server load is kept below 50% to enable service without dips in the server performance. The dedicated eLabInventory Private Cloud and eLabInventory Cloud On-Premises installations can also be configured as a high availability system installation in data centres.
